Check this place out when you are in Palolem. Very relaxed atmosphere not expensive. But the quality of the food excellent. We had 2 Dosas one Spinach and one Mushroom Masala plus accompaniments. Also if you need a strong coffee then they have lots of choices for you. A perfect stop off on the way to, or back from the beach.

Fresh black coffee was very good. The egg paratha was a good size, good price and very tasty.
My only issue is I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and asked for double eggs and said I was happy to pay more, however, I was charged double, not a massive issue since the price was still very good, but if I wanted to pay double then I’d just order the same meal twice and also get double the bread!
Regardless, I would definitely come back.

Best masala tea in this area. Nice and clean little restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Have been having all three meals there today and will do the same for rest of my time in palolem. 🙂

Good place for breakfast, paneer paratha is really good. All other breakfast items are good too. Slow service though. Recommended place if you stay near palolem beach

In this posh place i did not expect such a reasonable rate of food however beyond expectation i found very good and tasty along with reasonable rate ..thanks for all sort of hospitality...👍👍👍💐💐👍👍 will surely visit again

We discovered this place very recently. Very tasty yet reasonable food. Its at a good location in Palolem Goa too. The seating is basic but their food is just too good. We weren’t expecting a lot however got pleasantly surprised with what we got! Ordered puri aloo and masala dosa for breakfast and both were yumm. I will visit this place again to try out their meals and other food

Ok first off, the place does have really tasty food served. However, the good things stop here as we had a very bad experience whilst having breakfast. It had only been 10 minutes into our breakfast, and the waiters are already being passive aggressive to finish our food and leave as there were other patrons arriving.(the place has approx 5 tables only). First they took off the menu, then even tissues! and whilst eating they asked us if we were done, which was ridiculous. They made the new patrons sit directly in front of us which made us extremely uncomfortable. Interesting point to note that there was another foreigner eating alone and they didnt bother him with all these shenanigans.

It's a decent place with reasonable rates. Menu is limited and taste is average. We found the place hygienic.

The food was amazing, probably the best veg food I've had in all of Canacona.

The paneer was extremely soft and flavourful. The Thali was amazing with all the sides made to perfection. Would definitely recommend

This place serves excellent chai, it's my absolute favourite! Their coffee based beverages are also very good and versatile, all handcrafted with coffee beans sourced from the Coorg area. Espresso, cappuccino, latte and more.
I love the food, it's consistently tasty, qualitative and comes at a good price. Dosa, all day breakfast, veg thali. And tandoori dishes will be added to the menu soon.
The owner Uday always has a warm smile and the staff happily serves you.

Had veg momos (fresh and tasty) but they don't have spicy chutney. Please do ask , they'll provide.

Carpe Diem Cafe is a local gem, a bit hidden from sight, but on the main road so easy to find and worth a visit. The new coffee menu is great. I love the espresso based drinks made by the friendly owner Uday from freshly ground coffee beans from the Coorg area plantations.
All food I have had at Carpe Diem Cafe was excellent: the veg thali, the momos, the dosas. And affordable prices.
